BLACKPINK JENNIE Wins 200 million Spotify Streaming for the First Women’s Solo in Korea

BLACKPINK Jennie has surpassed 200 million Spotify Streaming.

“SOLO,” a solo song by BLACKPINK’s Jennie, surpassed 200 million won in streaming on Spotify, a music streaming company.

Jenny released ‘SOLO’ on November 12, 2018. During her activities, she not only swept major music sites, music charts and music shows in Korea, but also topped iTunes charts in 40 regions overseas, first ranked iTunes Worldwide Song Chart in Korea as well as the top 10 iTunes songs in the U.S. for the first time as a Korean female solo artist.

The music video surpassed 100 million views in just 23 days since its release, followed by 200 million views in 90 days, 300 million views in 182 days and 400 million views in 3.9 million, the shortest record for a Korean female solo artist.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK, which includes Jennie, is preparing for a comeback in the first half of this year.
