Legendary actress and comedian Carol Burnett recently bid farewell to her long-time home in Los Angeles, selling her luxurious three-bedroom condo for a cool $3.7 million. The Wilshire condominium building in Westwood provided the perfect location for Burnett, boasting luxury amenities including a fitness center, pool, and 24-hour concierge.

The 2,800 square-foot home underwent a major renovation in 2011 and even has private elevator access. What sets the Wilshire building apart are the additional features it offers such as a door attendant, banquet and meeting rooms, and even 36-bottle wine storage lockers.

Originally listed for $4.2 million in October 2022, the property was quickly snatched up by the lucky new owner.

Burnett celebrated her 90th birthday on April 26, 2023, with a star-studded two-hour special titled “Carol Burnett: 90 Years of Laughter + Love.” The show, which was taped in March, featured performances from famous singers like Katy Perry, Kristin Chenoweth, and Bernadette Peters. Celebrity guests included Cher, Ellen DeGeneres, Steve Carell, and Amy Poehler.

Throughout her decades-long career, Burnett has earned six Emmys, six Golden Globes, and a Grammy, among other accolades. Her variety show, “The Carol Burnett Show,” aired from 1967 until 1978, bringing in an impressive 25 Emmys. Despite her success in comedy, Burnett feels that something is missing from modern sketch shows. She admits to missing the classics and longs to see variety shows make a comeback.

Although Burnett is moving on from her Los Angeles home, her fans eagerly anticipate her next projects. Whatever the future may hold, Burnett’s work is sure to continue to bring laughter and love to audiences everywhere.
