Sara Foster, the daughter of renowned musician and record producer David Foster, has publicly criticized liberal politicians following the tragic murder of tech entrepreneur Bob Lee in San Francisco. The 43-year-old founder of Cash App was fatally stabbed in the early hours of Tuesday morning in the Rincon Hill area of the city, and no suspects have been identified in the case.
Foster shared a screenshot of an article that featured photos of Lee with his two children, expressing her disbelief at the tragic news and referring to San Francisco as a “complete s—hole”. She went on to condemn liberal politicians, who she believes are “ruining cities”.
Foster’s representatives have not yet commented on the matter.
In addition to her father’s musical legacy, Foster is a fashion designer and a registered Democrat. Last year, she expressed her support for billionaire developer Rick Caruso in his unsuccessful bid to become the mayor of Los Angeles. Foster claimed that Caruso’s opponent, then-Democratic U.S. Rep. Karen Bass, was “unequipped to handle what is happening in this city”.
David Foster was previously married to Linda Thompson and Yolanda Hadid, and is now married to actress and singer Katharine McPhee, with whom he welcomed a son in 2021. Sara has two children with her fiancé, former professional tennis player Thomas Haas.
Local reports suggest that Lee begged for help in 911 calls following the attack, but was ignored by a driver as he stumbled down a sidewalk near the Bay Bridge while clutching a wound on his side. The incident is still under investigation by local authorities.
