93-year-old Cancer Patient Involved in High-Speed Police Chase in San Fernando Valley A 93-year-old cancer patient was caught up in a high-speed police chase across the San Fernando Valley after a woman stole a Golden Age Senior Daycare van.
The elderly man, identified as Abby Javaheri, was inside the van during the chase. Kambiz Merabi, Javaheri’s father-in-law, expressed his concern, stating that “he went through an ordeal that no one should go through.”
After the pursuit, the suspect was taken into custody. The van had a tracking system that was activated when police officers spotted the vehicle.
