Fatal Crash in Irvine Leaves One Dead, Two Injured

A collision between a BMW and a Lexus in Irvine resulted in the death of a woman and injuries to two others.

In Irvine on Saturday evening, tragedy struck when a white BMW, carrying the driver and four passengers, was broadsided by a gold Lexus near the intersection of Irvine Boulevard and Sand Canyon Avenue. Tragically, a 47-year-old woman seated in the back of the BMW on the passenger’s side lost her life as a result of the crash. The driver and two other passengers sustained injuries but are expected to recover, according to Irvine Police Department.
