“Guilty Pleas: Teens Admit to Murdering Iowa Teacher”

Two Iowa teenagers plead guilty to the murder of a high school Spanish teacher. Motive traced back to a bad grade. Sentencing hearings scheduled.

Two teenagers in Iowa have pleaded guilty to the murder of a high school Spanish teacher in 2021. Willard Miller and Jeremy Everett Goodale admitted to the beating death of 66-year-old Nohema Graber, whose body was discovered concealed under a tarp, wheelbarrow, and railroad ties at an Iowa park.

Graber, a mother of three, had taught the accused students at Fairfield High School. The motive for the attack was reportedly a bad grade given to Miller. Although charged as adults, the defendants were not subject to a mandatory life sentence without parole due to their age at the time of the crime. Sentencing hearings for Miller and Goodale are scheduled for July and August respectively.
