Gunman kills eight in shooting at Texas mall

A shooting at the Allen Premium Outlets in Texas has left eight dead, with victims ranging from a 5-year-old child to adults. The shooter, identified as 33-year-old Mauricio Garcia, was engaged and neutralized by a responding police officer. Seven people were pronounced dead at the scene, while two others died at a hospital. The motive for the attack is not yet clear. President Joe Biden released a statement saying he and First Lady Jill Biden are praying for the families of the victims.
