The incident occurred on Saturday at approximately 3:55 a.m. on Lankershim Boulevard near Cayuga Avenue. The victim was driving her 2015 Nissan Versa in the northbound direction when it collided with the big rig. The truck, characterized by a white cabin and a dark-colored trailer, did not stop after the collision.

Sadly, the woman sustained fatal injuries, and paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department pronounced her dead at the scene.
