BTS‘ J-Hope (real name Jung Ho-suk) has surpassed 3 million followers for the first time as a K-pop solo artist on Spotify, the world’s largest music platform.

According to Spotify, J-Hope surpassed 3 million followers on Sunday. It was set 110 days after breaking 2.5 million followers, and is rapidly increasing by an average of more than 4,500 per day.

A total of eight songs have been posted on Spotify’s account. Seven songs from the mix tape “Hope World” released in March 2018 (Daydream, Airplane, Hope World, Blueside, Baseline, Hangsang, P.O.P) and her solo single “Chicken Noodle Soup” released last September. All of these songs are released free of charge on SoundCloud, and are loved by listeners without any special solo activities.

J-Hope’s mixtape “Hope World” recently surpassed the 200 million-won streaming total for seven songs in the album, while “Chicken Noodle Soup,” released last year, has recorded more than 41 million. Chicken Noodle Soup was also on the Billboard Hot 100 when it was released last year. In addition, “Chicken Noodle Soup,” which was posted on the official YouTube channel of Big Hit Entertainment on Sept. 27 last year, currently has more than 153.95 million views. In 194 days after its release, the song surpassed 150 million views.
