Nissin Foods, the Japanese food company renowned for introducing the world’s first instant cup noodle, has done it again by creating a one-of-a-kind noodle fork. The fork, made entirely of noodles, has generated significant buzz since its debut on the Twitter account of Nissin’s flagship product, Cup Noodle.
The photo posted by Cup Noodle features dozens of noodle strands intertwined to form the shape of a fork. The caption reads, “Have you ever thought about eating Cup Noodle with a fork made of noodles? Introducing the Cup Noodle noodle fork!”
Although it’s unclear if the noodle fork will be available for purchase, it has already garnered over seven million views on social media. Fans of the iconic instant noodle brand have expressed their excitement, with some even suggesting that they would prefer to eat their noodles with the noodle fork rather than a traditional utensil.
Despite the overwhelmingly positive response, some have raised concerns that the noodle fork might not be practical, with one netizen asking, “What if the fork becomes overcooked and can’t be eaten?” Others have speculated that the noodle fork was created purely for publicity and is unlikely to be mass-produced.
This isn’t the first time Nissin Foods has caused a stir with its product releases. Recently, the company launched two new products, the Nissin Yaki Soba U.F.O. and the Nissin Yaki Soba, which drew controversy for their similarities to the popular Korean instant noodle brand, Buldak Bokkeum Myeon. Despite the backlash, Nissin Foods continues to innovate and surprise its customers with unique and creative products.
