JIHOON of YG’s rookie group TREASURE transformed into an online trainer for the members and the TREASURE Makers(fandom name).
On April 25 at 12 PM, YG Entertainment revealed ‘A 3 Minute TREASURE – Home Training Episode’ through their official blog and TREASURE’s official YouTube channel.
JIHOON and JUNKYU got well-prepared for the home training and stood in front of the camera. JIHOON, who volunteered as the trainer of the day, revealed his will by stating, “I’ll stretch out and loosen JUNKYU’s knotted muscles”.
The two people began their training by stretching. JIHOON corrected JUNKYU’s form while explaining, ‘Pilates is about endurance, a fight between oneself”. When JUNKYU requested, “Teacher, I’d like to see you perform as well”, JIHOON pompously posed but fell with a stream, putting the viewers into laughter.
Despite being a short 3-minute clip, JIHOON and JUNKYU’s ‘silly chemistry’ stood out. While they were stretching their arms above their heads, they made the viewers’ hearts flutter by creating a huge heart using each other’s opposite arms.
JIHOON lead the training class with overflowing passion. For JUNKYU who has never performed band exercises before, he used customized training as a consideration. JUNKYU successfully followed the motions passionately and praised JIHOON’s professionalism to cheer him up.
After presenting all the prepared exercises, JIHOON promised, “I’ll train hard so that the members of TREASURE can be healthy and active”. They finished the show with a warm mood while cheering for even the TREASURE Makers’ health and well-being.
While currently on a full-scale debut project, TREASURE is meeting the global fans through their various video contents including ‘A 3 Minute TREASURE’, ‘TREASURE MAP’ which covers the story of 12 creators, ‘TMI’ which covers the behind scenes of the group’s schedules, and ‘Fact Check’ which answers the fans’ curiosities.
