JINU left the Nonsan Army Training Center, South Chungcheong Province, on April 29. It is said that JINU has faithfully received 4 weeks of basic military training after entering the Army Training Center on the 2nd.

The training center is currently not holding enlistment or completion ceremonies with families due to the prevention of the spread of COVID19. JINU also went through the completion formalities without exceptions. He will now go on serving as a public service worker on a designated organization as his alternative service.

After making debut as WINNER back in 2014, JINU was loved by music fans in and out of Korea through hits including ‘REALLY REALLY’, ‘LOVE ME LOVE ME’, ‘EVERYDAY’, ‘MILLIONS’, and ‘AH YEAH’.

Through the release of their third album ‘Remember’ back in April 9, the group topped music charts in and out of Korea. All songs from the album were charted in, as well as receiving favorable reviews.

Following JINU born in 1991, HOONY, born in 1992, began his military service on April 16, making group WINNER take a leave of absence for a while. MINO and YOON, born in 1993 and 1994 respectively, will focus on their solo activities.
