Lakers eliminate Warriors, advance to Western Conference finals

LeBron James led the way with 30 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors 122-101 in Game 6 to advance to the Western Conference finals. Anthony Davis added 17 points and 20 rebounds for the Lakers, who will face the top-seeded Denver Nuggets in the next round. The Warriors, led by Stephen Curry's 32 points, were eliminated from the playoffs, missing out on a chance to reach their seventh NBA Finals in nine seasons.

LeBron James led the Los Angeles Lakers to a 122-101 victory over the Golden State Warriors in Game 6, eliminating the defending NBA champions from the second-round series. The Lakers will face the top-seeded Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference finals starting Tuesday night in Denver.

Anthony Davis had 17 points and 20 rebounds for the Lakers, while Austin Reaves scored 23 points, highlighted by a 54-footer from midcourt at the halftime buzzer. The Lakers improved to 7-0 at home since the regular season ended with three wins in seven days over the Warriors.
