The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is seeking the public’s assistance in finding a suspect who allegedly beat a man to death outside a convenience store in Huntington Park.
Homicide detectives are investigating the case after the victim, a man in his 60s, was found dead with blunt-force trauma to his upper torso. Officials believe the suspect, identified as 29-year-old Miguel Angel Zavaleta, attacked the victim seemingly unprovoked, kicking and punching him during the assault.
The public is urged to contact the LASD Homicide Bureau or LA Crime Stoppers with any information on Zavaleta’s whereabouts.
