Lucky Scratchers Create Millionaires in Orange County

Two lucky lottery players in Orange County, California are now millionaires after purchasing winning scratchers. One man won $5 million with a ticket bought at a Chevron station in Irvine, while another won $1 million with a ticket from a Santa Ana market.

Orange County, California has recently produced two new millionaires thanks to their lucky lottery scratcher purchases. The California Lottery revealed that a $5 million winning ticket was sold at a Chevron station located at 5425 Alton Parkway in Irvine. The winner, Alec Bucur, said he had a feeling about the number five and decided to only buy the fifth ticket in the pack available. This decision paid off and he is now a multimillionaire.

Bucur plans to invest his newfound wealth and do some traveling, but he doesn’t need a mansion or a Ferrari. Meanwhile, the Chevron station that sold the winning ticket will receive a $25,000 bonus for their contribution to Bucur’s win.

In addition to Bucur’s big win, Jose Sanchez of Santa Ana also became a millionaire with a winning Power 10’s Scratcher ticket that he purchased at Shahkot Gas & Market on East Dyer Road. His prize: $1 million.

It’s clear that Orange County is a hot spot for lottery luck, and it’s possible that more big winners are out there. So the question remains: is it you?
