A 52-year-old Maryland man has won three lottery prizes by betting on the same numbers. The Charles County resident won $50,000 for the third time in 11 months using the numbers 48548, which also won him $100,000 in May 2022. He said he will continue to play the same numbers and believes that many people stop playing after a win and miss out on further opportunities.
The odds of winning the $50,000 prize in the Maryland Lottery’s “Pick 5” game are one in 100,000. The man wished to remain anonymous but chose the nickname “Big Winner.”
