Matthew McConaughey is set to star in a “Yellowstone” spinoff series at Paramount, confirmed the network’s President and CEO Chris McCarthy.
The upcoming show will be developed within the “Yellowstone” universe and will proceed irrespective of Kevin Costner’s future on the flagship series.
McCarthy also disclosed that McConaughey’s series is one of more than ten projects he is working on with “Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan.
McCarthy refused to comment on rumors of Costner’s exit, stating that the “Yellowstone” series owes its success to Costner, and he hopes that the actor continues to be a part of it for a long time.
