Mississippi Man Tries to Hide Gun in Taco Bell Quesadilla During Traffic Stop

A man tried to hide a handgun in a folded quesadilla at Taco Bell during a traffic stop, but police found it along with drugs and paraphernalia.

In an attempt to outsmart the authorities, a Mississippi man concealed a handgun inside a folded quesadilla from Taco Bell during a traffic stop.

Last Friday, Picayune Police Department officers stopped Olivia Neff and Devin Mitchell for a traffic violation on East Canal Street. During the stop, officers discovered that Mitchell had hidden a gun in his fast food order. A probable cause search also led officers to uncover a distribution amount of methamphetamine, liquid heroin, and drug paraphernalia.

Mitchell has been charged with several crimes, including possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm. Meanwhile, Neff was cited for disregard for a traffic device and was released at the scene.

Despite the unusual discovery, the Picayune Police Department made light of the situation on their Facebook page. When a user inquired about the fate of the quesadilla, the department humorously replied, “We’re afraid that quesadilla’s last beef has been ground.”
