Denver Nuggets player Nikola Jokic and Phoenix Suns owner Mat Ishbia had an altercation during Game 4 of the Western Conference semifinals. Ishbia grabbed the ball after Suns’ Josh Okogie crashed into the seats trying to save it.
Jokic tried to get the ball back from Ishbia, and the ball went backward into the crowd. Jokic appeared to nudge Ishbia, who exaggerated the push and flailed back dramatically into his seat, resulting in Jokic receiving a technical foul.
Ishbia stated he was “fine” at halftime and was back in his seat during the second half. The Suns won the game 129-124, and the series is now tied 2-2.
