A man in New Mexico was arrested for impersonating a sheriff’s deputy on Tinder, posting pictures of himself in a deputy’s uniform carrying a loaded gun. The man, Rico TreShon Dukes, has an extensive criminal history and is now charged with impersonating a public official and unauthorized wearing of a uniform or badge.
The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office has warned the public to be cautious when communicating with others online and to report any suspicious activity.
