Glen Kuiper, Oakland Athletics announcer, has been indefinitely suspended for using a racial slur during a live broadcast on Friday night. Kuiper referred to the "Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and Arthur Bryant’s Barbeque" in Kansas City using the n-word. He has since apologized and will not be on air until a review is completed. The A's Communication Department has condemned the language used and is addressing the situation. Meanwhile, the president of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, Bob Kendrick, has forgiven Kuiper and asked others to do the same.
