Search Underway for Hit-and-Run Driver After Fatal Incident in San Fernando Valley

Authorities are searching for the driver who struck and killed a woman during her daily run in the San Fernando Valley.

The Los Angeles Police Department is conducting a search for the driver involved in a hit-and-run incident that claimed the life of a woman in the San Fernando Valley. The victim, identified as 45-year-old Rosa Zareaseisan, was tragically struck just two blocks away from her home on Reseda Boulevard in Tarzana.

The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. near the Braemar Country Club. LAPD investigators have gathered evidence from the scene, indicating that the suspect was driving a black Land Rover. The vehicle was last seen making a U-turn and heading north on Reseda. Tragically, Zareaseisan died at the scene of the incident.

In an effort to aid the investigation, officials have announced a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the hit-and-run driver. This reward can also be granted for any resolution through civil compromise. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact LAPD’s Valley Traffic Division at 818-644-8000.
