Spate of restaurant robberies hits Santa Clarita

Several restaurants in Santa Clarita were robbed, with property damage outweighing stolen goods. Authorities have suspects, but no arrests made yet.

Santa Clarita restaurants experienced a series of break-ins last week, with half a dozen restaurants robbed in the early hours of Thursday. The damage caused outweighed what was stolen, according to officials.

The restaurants were located within a five-mile radius of each other and included Masa Ramen, Waffle Love, The Kluckin Chicken, and PokiTomik. The suspects typically took the coin drawer and opened drawers and cabinets before fleeing within three minutes.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has suspects but has not made any arrests yet. Despite the damage caused, the community has come together to support the affected businesses.
