Suspect in Custody for Fatal Hit-and-Run of Jogger in San Fernando Valley

The suspect involved in the hit-and-run incident that resulted in the death of a jogger in Tarzana has been apprehended, according to officials.

Authorities have confirmed that the individual believed to be responsible for the tragic collision that claimed the life of 45-year-old Rosa Zareaseisan is now in custody. The incident occurred on Tuesday night as Zareaseisan was jogging along Reseda Boulevard near the Braemar Country Club, just blocks away from her home. Tragically, she was struck by a vehicle, which subsequently fled the scene.

Upon arriving at the scene, emergency responders pronounced Zareaseisan deceased. LAPD investigators gathered evidence from the area and determined that the suspect was driving a black Land Rover, based on the remnants of the vehicle found at the site of the incident.

In an effort to facilitate the apprehension of the perpetrator, authorities had offered a reward of $50,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction, or a resolution through civil compromise, of the hit-and-run driver.

At this time, the identity of the suspect has not been disclosed. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and further details are awaited.
