Even with the Stay-at-home regulations that different states have imposed now, there are still things you can enjoy at home like April Fool’s day jokes and pranks.
March will be soon over, and every year on April 1, people want to get the most of it. Kids may not be able to play tricks with their friends in person, but there are still some ways that you can do to prank others virtually.
Kids can do it on Zoom, for example.
Almost every occasion at this time has been called off, birthday parties, playdates classes, and Easter gatherings as well, but that doesn’t mean kids can’t do silly things. April Fool’s Day won’t be canceled!
For some waiting what Google is going to do (many are waiting for it), unfortunately, you have to brace yourself. They aren’t doing any pranks this year, and so are the other companies.
Don’t let this hinder you, and kids can do their own harmless fun as long as it has nothing to do with the novel coronavirus item. Here are some tips which will make Zooming or some other virtually pranks fun!
Snap camera
Snapchat is quite famous already; the company has a desktop app in which you could use Snap Cameral. You may add filters to the zoom and give the class a little April Fool’s surprise by using funny wigs, glasses, and accessories. A child could even show up in their class by being their favorite animal or some other characters, probably a cat sitting on their heads?
Pet as a substitute
Everyone would be surprised to see a dog/ cat Infront of their screen when they start their videos. Make your pet sit on a chair (with glasses on) or a cute stuffed toy on a chair before the Zoom meeting begins.
Play with Zoom’s audio
You can set the audio and allow something funny and random sounds or an audio clip and let it play from your computer. This will make children, and maybe teachers wonder where it would be coming from. Just make sure you do this only on April Fools’ Day!
Let the siblings and parents join in the fun
Zoom can be the perfect setup for the arm movement pranks. Let the other sibling stay behind the front child and let him do some arm movements while the one on the video is drinking water or something else that would make it visible what he’s doing with his arm.
Fart cushion
When you have one in your house, it would be a hilarious moment for the whole class, especially when they are all figuring out who’s making those noises. Be ready for some funny chaos.
Wearing a wig or costume
If using a filter is not your cup of tea, wear something instead, like a weird wig or a costume which you wouldn’t wear in the office or during a business meeting.
Muting your audio
This is the easiest of all without preparing anything. When your child is being called, tell them to answer without any sound going out. They would all tell him that his audio is not working, and then they can shout “April Fools!”
