The 19-year-old diving team member, Benjamin Smyth, is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in August 2022. The victim reported the incident, and Smyth initially denied knowing her. However, he later admitted to having sex with her. A private investigator later told authorities that Smyth returned to Canada, where he is a citizen. An arrest warrant has been issued for Smyth, who has been suspended by the university.
