According to a report by TMZ, Jane Schneck, the mother of famous Backstreet Boys singers Aaron and Nick Carter, was recently arrested for domestic battery. The incident occurred after she got into a physical altercation with her husband over a television remote control.

The argument reportedly began when Schneck was listening to music loudly on the TV, which prevented her husband from getting any sleep. Sources cited by TMZ claim that Schneck grabbed her husband’s wrist when he tried to record the incident on his phone, leading to him calling law enforcement.

Deputies who arrived at the scene reportedly watched the cell phone footage and subsequently arrested Schneck. She was booked into the Hernando County Jail early on Saturday morning and was released that evening after posting a $100 bond.

While her husband did not sustain any injuries during the altercation and did not require hospitalization, the incident nevertheless resulted in Schneck being charged with domestic battery.
