Billie Eilish posted a selfie along with a mention, ‘Things are comingggg’ on her Instagram two days ago.
Despite sharing no other details, fans immediately interpreted the cryptic comment to hint at new material. Fans are giving high hope that it would be her second album. After her album in 2019, ‘When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’ the follow-up album is yet to arrive. Recently Eilish explained that she was enabled to get back in the studio due to the Pandemic.
She also suggested in February that as many as 16 songs are in contention to feature on her forthcoming second album. During a Q&A session through her Instagram Stories, a fan asked how many tracks approximately will feature on the next record, to which she replied with a blank image with the numbers 1-16.
Eilish had unleashed the full capabilities of her voice on the new album, to which she replied: “There’s a couple of moments on this album where I pull some tricks out. It’s really just about what I feel like sounds good.” Let’s wait and see what magic she will bring to the world.
