Cheerleader coach accused of molesting girls to appear in court

Erick Kristianson, a former cheerleader coach, has been charged with molesting six girls aged between 11 and 16 from 2002 through 2006 in Orange County. Kristianson was arrested in Fargo, North Dakota, on a warrant out of Orange County and is being held without bail. He is accused of five lewd acts with a child, six counts of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor, and other sexual offenses. One of the alleged victims came forward last year after seeing news reports about Kristianson being accused of touching himself during a FaceTime call with three girls ages 11 to 13 and allegedly touching the breasts of a 13-year-old girl in Florida.

Former cheerleading coach Erick Joseph Kristianson is set to appear in court in Santa Ana, California, facing charges of molesting six girls between 2002 and 2006.

Kristianson, who coached cheerleaders for the Magic All-Stars club and was an assistant cheer coach at Trabuco Hills High School, is being held without bail after being arrested in Fargo, North Dakota, on a warrant out of Orange County.

The alleged victims ranged in age from 11 to 16. Kristianson was arrested last year on Florida charges but posted bail. He now faces multiple counts of lewd or lascivious acts with a minor, including sexual penetration by a foreign object.
