A 94-year-old man in Colorado died after he accidentally backed his ATV into a creek and was swept away, according to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon while the man was working on his property.
Emergency services received a call reporting the incident and several agencies conducted a search. The man was found a quarter mile downstream and was unconscious and not breathing. First responders were unable to revive him.
