Kenya’s police have found evidence of organ harvesting from the bodies of cult members found in a mass grave. The cult members, led by “Archbishop” Paul Eneche MacKenzie, had been instructed to fast and pray in the forest until they met Jesus, leading to over 100 deaths.
Although starvation was the main cause of death, some of the bodies, including children, showed signs of strangulation, beatings, and suffocation. Some organs were missing from the bodies, leading police to suspect that the suspects may have been involved in illegal organ trafficking. President Uhuru Kenyatta has promised to investigate and regulate extremist churches and cults in the country.
