An 11-month-old boy has died and his parents were seriously injured after a car drove onto a sidewalk and hit them in Orange County, California.
The family was walking when a silver Hyundai drove onto the sidewalk for several hundred feet before hitting them.
The driver, identified as Daniel Lenihan, was later arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.
All three members of the family were taken to the hospital in serious condition, but the infant child died despite rescue efforts. The incident is under investigation.
