Ford Recalls Over 1.5 Million Vehicles in U.S. for Brake Hose and Wiper Arm Issues

Ford is recalling 1.5M vehicles in the US due to leaky brake hoses and faulty windshield wipers. The largest recall covers 2013-2018 Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKX midsize cars, while the second recall covers 2021 F-150 pickups.

Ford is recalling over 1.5 million vehicles in the U.S. due to leaky brake hoses and windshield wiper arms that can break.

The largest of the two recalls covers nearly 1.3 million 2013 through 2018 Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKX midsize cars. The front brake hoses in these vehicles can rupture and leak brake fluid, increasing brake pedal travel and making stopping distances longer.

The second recall covers more than 222,000 F-150 pickups from 2021 due to windshield wiper arm issues. Ford has said that it is aware of one crash due to the brake hose issue, but there were no injuries.
