A teacher in Indiana has been charged with stalking, official misconduct, and battery after allegedly sending nearly 600 lewd messages to a student. Paige Simon, 28, is accused of engaging in inappropriate behavior with the student, who was 15 years old at the time of the alleged incident.
The victim’s father alerted authorities to the disturbing texts, which included explicit language and photographs. The student reported that Simon also discussed her past sexual activities.
Despite the student blocking her number, Simon continued to send messages. She has since resigned from her position at South Decatur High School.
