SOLE
Hello! PRESSREELS subscribers, I am singer Sole. Nice to meet you.
Q. Since your debut in 2017, you have been active in music-releasing albums. It’s only been a month since the recent release, “Why.” How do you spend your time besides working on music?
SOLE
I usually spend my time in the studio even though I’m not working. I listen to music, watch movies, and invite my friends over!

Q. Please tell us a bit about “Stay with me.”
SOLE
I wrote this song thinking about the people who listen to my music.
Q. Wonstein featured in “Stay with me.” Were there any episodes while working together?
SOLE
I don’t have a funny episode since we are both busy, and due to the schedules, we did all the work offline. Wonstein is the first rapper that I suggested to feature in my album. When I heard his vocals, I thought his voice was so charming. I sent him a DM(Direct Message), and that’s how it started.

Q. Where do you get your inspiration when you work as a singer-songwriter, producer, and artist? Also, what’s your breakthrough when you get stuck?
SOLE
It depends on what kind of music I am working on, but I get inspired by the experiences I have been through. If I get stuck, I burst outside!! And I spend a little bit of time out and start again.
Q. You have participated and collaborated with many artists. Is there an artist that you especially remember working together?
SOLE
The most memorable artist was when I featured in Brown Eyed Soul sunbaenim’s song. Naul gave me directions when I was there in the recording booth, and I thought my ears were melting.
Q. What kind of genre would you like to try in the future?
SOLE
Apart from genres, I want to experience many things, and I would like to work hard on making music.

Q. What kind of artist would you like to be when the public or your fans think of “SOLE”?
SOLE
I want to be an artist who makes good music that you can always trust and listen to.
Q. Half of this year has passed, is there a goal you want to achieve in 2022?
SOLE
I really want to complete my winter album.
