Thousand Oaks is gripped by an ongoing investigation into the suspicious deaths of a 7-year-old boy and his father. Late on Tuesday night, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office received a distress call from a residence on Chiquita Lane. Upon reaching the scene, authorities discovered the lifeless body of a man in his 40s inside the home.
The young boy, the man’s 7-year-old son, was rushed to the hospital but was sadly pronounced dead shortly after. While officials have refrained from explicitly labeling the deaths as a murder-suicide, they have acknowledged that the circumstances surrounding the incident are suspicious.
