The Ontario Police Department has reached out to the public for assistance in identifying the individual who falsely reported an active shooter at Ontario Mills mall on Memorial Day. After receiving multiple 911 calls claiming the presence of a person with a gun and gunshots being heard, law enforcement responded with a significant presence.
However, it was later confirmed that no shots were fired. The police department emphasizes their commitment to investigating these false claims and holding those responsible accountable. Ontario Mills, a popular shopping outlet mall in San Bernardino County, has resumed normal operations while the investigation continues.
