The only K-Pop TV channel on Xumo, ‘NEW K.ID’, released the top 10 U.S. weekly rankings in the first week of May, following the release of a K-Pop binge-watching guide that would make people stream their favorites from the comfort of their own rooms, support them in online activities, and finally forget the sense of disconnection amid COVID-19 outbreak.

NEW K.ID weekly rankings reflect 10K+ content provided as an on-demand service and on-now live streaming viewing data for a week. It is drawing attention with its up-to-date data that shows the latest trends in U.S. viewers’ interest in K-Pop idols and other entertainment genres starring K-Pop idols. The NEW K.ID weekly viewing chart is released every Wednesday through the official Twitter.
NEW K.ID will actively reflect the interests of U.S. K-Pop fans in its programming with the weekly analysis of viewership across the 6 K-Pop-focused entertainment genres. A series of special events will be held for U.S. fans. In May, special content viewing events are underway with the K-Pop idol stars, Hong Eun-ki, TOO, and BUSTERS, along with “Whosfan,” which provides K-pop music global charts. Scanning and applying for the QR code that appears during the NEW K.ID broadcast will give as many as 30 signed Polaroids through a lottery, and you can access and participate in the “Whospan” app.
