Authorities in Newport Beach are reaching out to the public for help in identifying a potential witness to a recent altercation. The incident occurred last Saturday at around 1:40 a.m. in the parking lot located at 3101 Newport Boulevard.
While details of the altercation are yet to be disclosed, police officials are urging anyone with information to come forward. The witness in question, who is not believed to have been involved in the fight, may have key information that could help with the ongoing investigation.
According to authorities, the witness is described as a male individual, sporting a black baseball hat, a long-sleeved gray sweatshirt with “Jack’s Surfboards” emblazoned on it, and blue jeans.
Detective R. Stucken of the Crimes Against Persons Unit has requested that anyone who has information that may be useful to the investigation to contact the police at 949-644-3797.
