Three lifeless bodies were discovered on the beach outside a popular hotel in Cancun, Mexico. Mexican government officials confirmed the deaths and have opened an investigation into the matter.
The incident follows last week’s shooting of an American in Cancun.
The State Department has issued a travel advisory warning visitors to Mexico’s coastal Quintana Roo state to exercise increased caution due to crime and kidnapping, as criminal activity and violence may occur in any location, at any time.
