Tragedy in the Skies: Three Killed in Big Bear Plane Crash Identified

Three people have been identified after being killed in a small plane crash in Big Bear, California.

The Big Bear Fire Department was alerted to a downed aircraft near Paradise Way and Maltby Boulevard around 2 p.m. on Monday. Unfortunately, all three individuals aboard the plane died in the crash. The victims have been identified as 60-year-old Stormie Seibold of Temecula, 62-year-old Jimmy Fitzpatrick of Perris, and 79-year-old Robert Carty of Lake Havasu, Arizona.

The crash remains under investigation, and the cause of the accident is still unknown. The National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration are conducting the investigation, with the assistance of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

This tragedy marks the latest in a series of deadly plane crashes in California in recent years, highlighting the importance of aviation safety and the need for continued vigilance in preventing such incidents from occurring.
