Two women have been injured, with one in critical condition, following a horrific crash in Santa Ana, California. The incident occurred late on Monday night when the driver of a speeding minivan crashed into a first-floor apartment at the Vista del Rio complex. Orange County firefighters arrived at the scene around 10:20 pm and worked diligently to rescue the trapped woman from the wreckage. Meanwhile, the other victim was taken to a nearby hospital with less severe injuries.

The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction, abandoning their minivan at the scene of the accident. Investigators are currently trying to determine whether alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision.
