As Mother’s Day approaches, Walmart has announced plans to gift up to 20,000 one-year memberships of Walmart+ to new mothers who give birth in hospitals nationwide during the month of May.
The free memberships, which typically cost $98 each, are part of the company’s “Mother of All Savings Memberships” campaign. Walmart+ offers same-day delivery on 160,000 items, a fuel discount at select gas stations, and the ability to check out at Walmart stores without waiting in line.
The gift is also in conjunction with Pampers Hospital Gift Program, which provides new mothers with a gift bag including coupons, informative literature, and a six-count sample of Pampers Sensitive Wipes.
