Westlake Village Target store faces repeated shoplifting incidents

The Westlake Village Target store in California has been hit by two shoplifters in consecutive days, who stole a large amount of goods worth over $1000, including Super Mario Lego sets, vacuum cleaners, and alcoholic beverages. Sheriff's officials are looking for the suspects and have released surveillance images of the suspects and their vehicles.

The Westlake Village Target store located at 30740 Russell Ranch Road in California has been hit by repeated shoplifting incidents, causing concern for local law enforcement officials.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, two shoplifters stole a large amount of goods from the same store on consecutive days. On April 14 at about 6:15 p.m., a suspect took a Super Mario Lego set, a Shark cordless vacuum, and a Bissell vacuum, with a total estimated loss of $1078.97. The suspect left the store via an emergency exit door and fled in a Dodge minivan with California license plate number 7KGV479.

A day earlier, on April 13, a man stole about $890 worth of alcoholic beverages from the same store. The suspect selected multiple bottles of alcohol and left the store without paying, loading the bottles into a silver sedan in the parking lot. The sheriff’s department has released images of that suspect and vehicle as well.

The authorities hope that the release of surveillance images will help identify the suspects and lead to their arrest.
