Chinese fans’ super-special support to celebrate the seventh anniversary of BTS V’s debut has become a hot topic.
As evidenced by the popularity of BTS V in China, which marks the seventh anniversary of its debut on the 13th, the support of Chinese fans was beyond imagination in terms of its size and ideas every time it was announced. V’s Chinese fan club, BAIDU V BAR, unveiled the first and second rounds of support projects with the message, “You are the most precious being in the world to fill our four seasons.”

First, it announced that it plans to create a “V Road” embroidered with V’s banner flags over a total of 174.000 meters (17.4 kilometers) of Seoul’s main streets from June 8 to 12. This length is a distance that adults have to walk 4.5 hours on foot without a break, so one can guess the scale. Banner’s phrase means absolute love for V with “LOVE is perfect when there is V,” just as V cannot be a complete love (LOVE).
The support, which used to be mostly conducted indoors, said it has decided to be a large outdoor area considering the current Korona situation. Banner flags will be embroidered on Hangang-daero, Yongsan-gu, a hot place with a large floating population, and Gangnam Samsung. Sincheon, Jamsil, Sinsa-dong Garosu-gil, Cheongdam-dong Street, Hongdae, and Myeong-dong. The reason for selecting seven places means the seventh anniversary of BTS’ debut.
He also expressed his hope that V will see banner flags flying in Yongsan and Samseong-dong, where Big Hit Entertainment’s office building and house are located. V’s large billboards will also be decorated at major bus stops in seven streets.
Earlier, Chinese fans held a large-scale event with 200 drones and 100 sky lanterns floating on the night sky of the Great Wall of China on December 30, 2019, and in Seoul, Baidu Busa was the first celebrity fan club to participate in the “2019 Seoul Christmas Festival,” a representative cultural festival, as an official sponsor, and the “Purele V Zone,” which was installed for V in Cheonggyecheon, Seoul, attracted the attention of countless people.
Although BTS is not active in China, the BAIDU V BAR has proved V’s popularity in China with its strong economic power and scale. KPOP records such as achieving 500 million won in the shortest period of fundraising for V’s birthday and achieving the most purchases among KPOP artists for two consecutive years, and it is admired that it is like the “King of Records” V fandom, which has recorded countless records.
