Five juveniles have been apprehended in connection with an attack on three US Marines at the San Clemente pier over the weekend, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. The incident took place on Friday, May 26, just after 9 p.m. Two Marines were found injured when deputies arrived at the scene, and although medical aid was offered, the Marines declined transportation to the hospital. Subsequent investigations revealed that a third Marine was also targeted during the altercation.
On Tuesday, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department announced the arrest of four male juveniles and one female juvenile believed to be involved in the attack. They have been booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
