BLACKPINK ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ MV 1.1 billion views… First among K-pop groups

The music video of the girl group BLACKPINK’s ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ has exceeded 1.1 billion views.

YG Entertainment announced on the day that BLACKPINK’s ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ music video recorded 1.1 billion views of YouTube at about noon on the 24th. It is the first record set by a group of K-pop men and women.

BLACKPINK’s ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ is the title song of the first mini album ‘SQUARE UP’ released in June 2018. The music video DDU-DU DDU-DU’ created the boom of cover dance by fans and became the No. 1 K-Pop Music Video in the world that year, reaching 1.1 billion views in a year and 9 months.
