BLACKPINK unveils full version of ‘BOOMBAYA’ and ‘Kill This Love’ Coachella

BLACKPINK released a full version of the 2019 Coachella stage.

On the official YouTube channel of BLACKPINK on the 16th, “Boombaya” and “Kill This Love,” which they performed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival last year, were uploaded.

BLACKPINK presented a high-quality performance with a live band on the stage of “BOOMBAYA.” Even though it was Coachella’s first stage, he overwhelmed the atmosphere of the scene with his relaxed performance. Audiences also enjoyed the performance with excitement, waving their BLACKPINK official lightstick, “Ppyongbong.”

BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love” stage drew shouts from the audience with intense music hitting the ears and energetic explosive choreography. In the second half, she drew attention with her colorful performances, filling the stage with dancers.

BLACKPINK recently made headlines for appearing in Coachella’s 20th Anniversary Documentary (Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert). Appearing in a documentary on the largest music festival in the United States representing the 21st century, Black Pink has decorated a page in Coachella’s history as a K-pop artist.

BLACKPINK was invited as the first K-pop girl group and subheadliner to the Coachella Sahara stage in Indio, California, about a year ago. It was a moment that stood shoulder to shoulder with prominent musicians such as Childish Gambino and Ariana Grande.

Blackpink’s Coachella video, which showed K-pop’s influence around the world at that time, is drawing attention every day. BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU” Coachella stage video, which was released earlier, is about to surpass 6 million views within a week of its release on YouTube.

Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is a music festival that began in 1999 and boasts tradition and authority. It is known as the “dream stage” of numerous musicians by inviting artists with musicality as well as popular popularity. In addition to music, the festival is also a festival that exchanges trends across cultures such as fashion and life style.
