Bottega Veneta’s recent secretly unfolding after-party for the runway of the ‘Salon 02’ collection has become a subject of controversy because it does not adhere to the COVID-19 quarantine rules. Bottega Veneta hosted a private Salon 02 collection runway last weekend at Berlin Club Berghein, notorious for being difficult to enter. The runway content was not disclosed to the outside, but photos of celebrities such as Virgil Abloh, Skepta, Honey Dijon, Slow Thai, and Burna Boy have been a hot topic.
The problem arose at the after-party after the collection runway. Bottega Veneta rented the entire Soho House hotel in Berlin to hold a party. The process confirmed that most of the participants, including Daniel Lee, the brand’s creative director, were not wearing masks. Also, it is known that none of the basic quarantine rules, such as self-isolation on the 5th recommended in Germany, prohibition of personal meetings after 9 pm, and body temperature check, have been observed. According to <WWD>, Bottega Veneta declined to respond to the case.
