According to the agency Big Hit Entertainment on the 19th, BTS’ fourth full-length album “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7”, which was released in February, sold about 429,000 copies, topping the album rankings of the first half of the year of Oricon.
It is the first time that a non-Japanese overseas singer album has topped the Oricon album sales list in the first half of the year since Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” in 1984.
